Scan a Magic card

Take a photo of one card, a whole binder page, or several cards on a table. We read each card's name, set code and collector number and show the printing with its TCGplayer price. Add what you scanned to your collection to see its total value.

One card per photo, face up, filling the frame. Daylight or a bright room works best; tilt away from glare on foils.

Your photo is not stored. It is sent once to Cloudflare Workers AI to read the card, then discarded. We keep no copy and do not log it, and Cloudflare does not use it to train models. For a binder page, your phone cuts the photo into one image per pocket and sends only those. For several cards, a smaller copy of the whole photo is sent once to find the cards, then one image per card.

How it works

  1. Cards printed since 2020 show a set code and collector number at the bottom left (for example MH3 • EN 0123). When we can read them, you get the exact printing.
  2. Older cards print a set symbol instead of a code, and cards before 1998 print no number at all. For those we find the card by name and use the artist and copyright year to pick the printing. Check the set before you buy: the other printings are one tap away.
  3. Cards in other languages are matched to the English card. Foreign printings can sell for more or less than the English price shown.
  4. Prices are TCGplayer market prices for each finish, updated once a day.
