What the codes mean

The small print at the bottom of the Future Sight card (#119).

119

  • 119Collector number: this card's place in the set list. Main-set cards print it over the set's card count.

Cards from 1998 to mid-2014 print the collector number over the set's card count (like 90/383) next to the copyright line. They have no rarity letter, set code or language code: the set symbol and its colour show the set and rarity.

Rulings (3)

  1. May 1, 2007

When the echo ability resolves, you may pay zero mana or choose not pay. The first option means Shah of Naar Isle stays on the battlefield and its last ability triggers. The second option means Shah of Naar Isle is sacrificed.

  2. May 1, 2007

If you have multiple opponents, each one in turn order chooses whether or not to draw cards, and if so, how many to draw (from zero to three).

  3. May 1, 2007

If you use Thick-Skinned Goblin’s ability to pay zero mana instead of Shah of Naar Isle’s echo cost, the Shah’s last ability will trigger.
